PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with a variability in a repetition period and observation resolution of a waveform of a signal to be measured. SOLUTION: On the basis of the information on the repetition period of the waveform of the signal X to be measured inputted by a parameter input means 26 and the observation resolution, a sampling period having the difference corresponding to the observation resolution for an integral multiple of the repetition period is obtained to output the sampling signal having the period from a signal generator 25. When an operational mode having a plurality of data acquisition periods in which the sampling is continuously performed prescribed times for the signal X to be measured is designated, a value which is longer than that of the data acquisition period and which is a common multiple of the calculated sampling period and the period of the waveform of the signal X to be measured is obtained as an interval value for each data acquisition period, and an output of a counter 31 is supervised. A data acquisition part 21 is controlled so as to start the data acquisition each time when the sampling signal for the interval value is outputted from the signal generator 25.
