PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an observation window capable of widening the temperature range in which the window made of glass is applicable and assuring improvement both of the safety and the cost for securing the factor of safety. SOLUTION: The observation window is structured so that a nozzle 40 is fixed to the outside of a wall 3 with its inner hole 42 in communication with the opening 31, an inner glass plate 61 is installed in the inner hole 42 while an outer glass plate 62 is installed in the inner hole 42 through a space 63, and that a spring 9 to fix the inner glass plate 61 is installed in the space 63 formed between the inner glass plate 61 and the outer glass plate 62.
