PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retainer for a bearing of high rotational accuracy excellent in durability and silence while reducing friction torque, and a rolling bearing using the same. SOLUTION: The retainer for the bearing 2 includes a plurality of pockets 4 capable of rotatably retaining a plurality of rolling elements with regular intervals. Inner diameter side edge parts 4a' of a plurality of the pockets 4 specified according to a designated regularity is positioned and established inside the inner diameter side edge parts 4a of other pockets 4 toward a center H of the retainer for the bearing.
