PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door guard in which a case when a door is held at a precautionary place and a case when the door is closed as it is without holding the door at the precautionary place can be selected arbitrarily and used properly by an operating person when the door is opened up to the precautionary place by using the door guard. SOLUTION: In the door guard in which the door can be held at the precautionary place when an arm is rotated to the engaging-shaft front-end side from the state in which an engaging shaft is abutted against a stopper section for the arm, the door guard is constituted so that an arm control section preventing a free rotation to the engaging-shaft front-end side of the arm under the state in which the engaging shaft is abutted against the stopper section by an door-opening operation is installed and the arm is turned to the engaging-shaft front-end side by separately operating the arm at the precautionary place.
