PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for industrially producing a triarylphosphine having high storage stability without forming any byproduct and without causing any phosphine odor. SOLUTION: This method for industrially producing the triarylphosphine of formula(1) comprises carrying out a reaction between a Grignard reagent of the general formula(2) and a phosphorus compound of formula(3), recrystallizing and refining the resultant crude triarylphosphine with a recrystallizing solvent followed by carrying out a distillation for further refining. In formulae(1), (2) and (3), X<SP>1</SP>is a halogen atom; X<SP>2</SP>is a halogen atom, an alkoxy or aryloxy; R is H, a halogen atom, an alkyl, alkoxy or haloalkyl; (n) is an integer of 1-3; when (n) is≥2, the groups R may be same as or different from each other, and when X<SP>1</SP>, X<SP>2</SP>and R are each a halogen atom, the groups R may be same as or different from each other.
