PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prize winning device for a pinball game machine allowing a game ball to enter a small prize port even if the small prize port is put in the open state when a big prize port is in the open state, making the prize winning rate adjustable and further saving the space of a game board in the prize winning device for the pinball game machine provided with a plurality of variable prize ports changeable into the open state advantageous to a player from the closed state disadvantageous to the player when prescribed conditions are established. SOLUTION: The big prize port 30 put in the open state when a special pattern displayed on a special pattern display device 23 results in a predetermined big hit pattern, a small prize port 29 put in the open state when an ordinary pattern displayed on an ordinary pattern display device 24 results in a predetermined hit pattern, and a special pattern starting prize port 27 for starting the special pattern, are provided side by side in a mounting board 35.
