PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an offset printing method, with which a minute printing pattern can be formed without developing a poor printing such as mottling, the fat growing or a deformation of the width of a line. SOLUTION: In this printing method, a blanket cylinder is formed by winding and laminating an under blanket, in which the compressive stress F under the state being compressed by 0.15 mm in the direction of thickness after being compressed in the direction of thickness so as to set its initial load to become 0.06 MPa is brought within the range represented by formula (1): 0.3 MPa≤F≤1.2 MPa, and a printing blanket in this order around the outer periphery of a cylindrical impression cylinder. Employing the blanket cylinder, an ink pattern formed on the surface of a plate is transferred to the outer peripheral surface of the blanket cylinder and then re-transferred on the surface of a matter to be printed to form the printing pattern.
