PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the application tube angle setting and travel operation of a walking type applicator. SOLUTION: This walking type spreader in which an application device 5 is mounted on a machine frame equipped with an operation handle 6 having left and right grip portions 6L, 6R and further with travel wheels 3 and which is used for applying an agrochemical, while traveling on a levee, is characterized by laterally direction-changeably supporting the intermediate portion of an application tube 35 extended from a fan-having fan case 31 and connected to a chemical hopper 33 with an arm 62 comprising a bar-like member, attaching a duct hose 72 to the tip of the application tube 35, and vertically rotatably forming the duct hose 72 on a longitudinal axis.
