<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dyestuff produced by using a plant as a raw material in high efficiency, capable of being preserved for a long period and utilizing a fact that it uses the plant as the raw material, as a commercial value, and a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: This dyestuff is produced by drying a colored tissue of the plant and then coarsely crushing. The colored tissue can be a flower, and the flower can be a rose. It is desirable to perform drying by freeze vacuum drying in view of color development, and further, by finely crushing the coarsely crushed powder in ≥50 % aqueous ethanol solution or anhydrous ethanol, a pigment is extracted and the dyestuff is obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
