<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hygienic beverage container whose air hole is easily washed. <P>SOLUTION: This beverage container comprises a container main body (1), a cover body (4) for tightly closing the main body and a cover member (8) on the top of the cover body. The cover body is provided with a mouth opening (14) formed with a straw hole (15) for inserting a straw part (6) therein and an air hole (2) formed at a position different from that of the straw hole. The cover member is mounted rotatively at a position different from those of the straw hole and the air hole. A straw pressing part (18) for closing the mouth opening in a cover member closed condition is provided. A vent member (5) with a valve disc (17) for opening and closing the air hole bing interlocked with the rotation of the cover member is also provided. The vent member keeps the air hole closed when the cover member is completely closed. The vent member opens the vent hole when and after the cover member is rotated in an opening direction and reaches a predetermined degree. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
