<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the timing of replacing work of a supply reel by a worker from being restricted by the time point of blanking a last electronic circuit section from the supply reel, and to enable the replacement work to be performed rapidly and efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: Two supply reels 14A, 14B are mounted in a tape supply unit 11, and when a tape 1 from the reel 14A is used up, a tape 1 is supplied from the supply reel 14B. The reel 14B is set before the tape 1 of the reel 14A is used up, and the tip of the tape 1 is held at a tape-holding member 41L. When it is detected that the tape 1 from the reel 14A is used up, the tape 1 from the reel 14A is cut by a cutter 45 provided at a tape holding member 41U of a path switching unit 20, and the tip of the tape 1 from the reel 14B is superposed on the cut tape 1 and coupled by a stapler mechanism 46F. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
