DEVICE, METHOD AND PROGRAM OF CONTENTS DISTRIBUTION AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contents distribution device, a contents distribution method, a contents distribution program and a recording medium for permitting not only a terminal for which the contents are purchased but also at least one or more legitimate, restricted and specified terminals to view contents.

SOLUTION: In the contents distribution device, a purchaser terminal 3 is connected with a customer/charging management section 1-1 and a viewer purchases the contents to be viewed. A viewing terminal information management section 1-6 registers purchased data and terminal restriction information by associating them with each other on a management database 1-7. A decoding key management section 1-4 issues a decoding key to a viewer terminal 4 when it receives a decoding key issuance request from the viewer terminal 4. In addition, a distribution section 1-2 distributes the contents by using download or an external medium other than streaming. The viewer terminal 4 decodes and reproduces the contents encoded by using the decoding key.
