<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer system for realizing console input and output with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: In the computer system connected to an input/output device 200, a node 10 performing a prescribed operation processing is connected to an SVP 30 diagnosing the node 10 through a diagnosis function part 21. The SVP 30 is connected to the input/output device 200. The diagnosis function part 21 temporarily stores console output data outputted from the node 10 and console input data inputted to the node 10. The SVP 30 reads console output data stored in the diagnosis function part 21 and transmits the read console output data to the input/output device 200. The SVP 30 receives console input data transmitted from the input/output device 200 and writes received console input data into the diagnosis function part 21.
