PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a high quality image by preventing the degradation of image quality in a transferring process being the largest degradation factor of the image quality in an image forming device in which the electrostatic latent image formed on a photoreceptor is developed with toner to form a toner image and the toner image is transferred and fixed. SOLUTION: In the image forming method, by which the toner image on a transfer paper sheet is thermally fixed by developing the electrostatic latent image formed on an amorphous silicon photoreceptor drum to form the toner image, pressure-transferring the toner image by holding the transfer paper sheet between the photoreceptor dram and a transfer belt laid between rollers, simultaneously conveying the transfer paper sheet by the transfer belt, and passing the transfer paper sheet through a heating means, non-magnetic toner, whose volume resistivity is≥1×10<SP>9</SP>Ωcm and whose softening temperature Tm is 100 to 180°C and whose weight mean particle size is 3.0 to 10.0μm is used as toner.
