PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk manufacturing method wherein the planar accuracy of a disk surface is improved by suppressing the variations in thickness of a liquid adhesive applied on a disk substrate. SOLUTION: A disk substrate 12 in which an adhesive 24 is applied on a plate surface 52 is set on a disk setting base 34 of an adhesive heating device 30 to be rotated, and the adhesive 24 positioned near the outer peripheral side end 54 of the plate surface 52 is uniformly heated in a circumferential direction by radiation heat from a heater 50. Since a temperature difference is generated between the center side of the plate surface 52 and the adhesive 24 positioned near the outer peripheral side end 54, the swelling of the adhesive 24 by surface tension is suppressed to reduce the thickness variations. When a protective sheet or the like is stuck to this heated adhesive 24, the sheet is planarly stuck to the disk substrate 12 to improve the planar accuracy of the disk surface.
