PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact-sized Romaji (Japanese transliterated into the Roman alphabet) input device by which anyone can input Romaji easily and rapidly using the Roman alphabet, with which a large number of people are familiar on computer, by using a key of a conventional ten-key. SOLUTION: The Romaji input device has a display function for displaying a plurality of letters and symbols led from each key of the ten-key and a selection function which selects required letters and symbols from a plurality of the displayed letters and symbols in inputting the Romaji and English letters.
