PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a linear abnormal image due to reverse polarity charge since there is a case that a linear abnormal image is generated by performing the reverse polarity charge by a transfer means in an electrophotographic apparatus having a charging means, an image exposure means, a development means for performing the reverse development and a transfer means to a laminated electrophotograhic photoreceptor, and an electrophotographic method having a charging process, an image exposure process, a development process for performing the reverse development and a transfer process. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic apparatus has the charging means for performing charge, an image exposure means for performing image exposure, the development means for performing reverse development and the transfer means to the electrophotographic photoreceptor having a photosensitive layer on a conductive support. The electrophotographic photoreceptor contains non-halogen solvent in the photosensitive layer and sensitivity change after receiving recursive fatigue with polarity reverse of its charging polarity is defined as 30% or less.
