PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat developable recording material which is free from black spots, can be used for a field of photographic plate making in a complete dry process, and can form an image with high Dmax and gradation. SOLUTION: The heat developable recording material having at least one layer of an image forming layer contains a photosensitive silver halide, an organic silver salt, a reducing agent, and for example, a substituted alkene compound expressed by general formula, wherein W represents an electron withdrawing group, D represents an electron donating group and H represents a hydrogen atom.
