摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection head capable of enhancing the ejection efficiency of liquid drop while increasing the ejection velocity of liquid drop and stabilizing the ejection quantity of liquid drop, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The liquid ejection head 1 comprises a heater 20, an element substrate 11, and an orifice substrate 12 comprising an ejection opening part 26 having an opening 26a for ejecting a liquid drop, a bubbling chamber and a chamber for supplying liquid to the bubbling chamber, and a chamber 28 for supplying liquid to the nozzle 27. The bubbling chamber consists of a first bubbling chamber 31a and a second bubbling chamber 32b communicating, at the upper part thereof, with the ejection opening part 26 through a level difference. Side wall of the second bubbling chamber 32b contracts toward the direction of the ejection opening at an inclination of 10-45°. When the upper surface of the supply passage is made higher toward the supply chamber side, quantity of liquid in the supply passage can be increased and temperature dependency of the ejection quantity can be improved.
