PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance illuminating performance of a lighting system for a power tool. SOLUTION: An illuminating light emitter 9 is embedded in a place for surrounding a work place of a material in a base 1 or a material pressing-down member. Thus, the work place is properly illuminated by the illuminating light emitter 9, and the presence of the illuminating light emitter 9 does not hinder visibility of a worker. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
