PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartridge for dispensing with a lever for rotating a face plate member. SOLUTION: This cartridge 10 has the face plate member 20 having: a face plate part 22 having a face part 21 for covering a front face of a striking-out part 14 for striking out a staple; and an arm part 23 which extends backward from both ends of this face plate part 22 and has a rear part pivoted on a side part of a cartridge body. The cartridge can open the front face of the striking-out part 14 by rotating this face plate member 20 around a shaft 24 of the arm part 23. A recessed part 26 is arranged on a side wall 11A of the cartridge so as to face the side end 23a of the arm part 23 on the opposite side of the rotational direction. Prescribed clearance is arranged between one side part 51a of this recessed part 26 and the side end 23a of the arm part 23. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
