PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for form-rolling a rolling groove in a rolling body with which the rolling groove therein having almost fixed depth on the right and the left side surfaces of a guide rail blank can be form-rolled without being affected by the roll-die temperature. SOLUTION: When the rolling groove for the rolling body is form-rolled by pushing the roll-die to the right and the left side surfaces of the guide rail blank, the temperature of the roll-die is measured (step S3). On the basis of the temperature data of the roll-die obtained in the step S3, the optimum drawing speed of the guide rail blank is obtained in step S4. Rotation speed of the roll-die is controlled in step S6 so that the drawing speed of the guide rail blank becomes the optimum drawing speed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
