PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ladder stabilizing device for increasing safety and workability in high-lift work on an electric pole. SOLUTION: A handle 2 with an installation bolt is fitted to the front face of a light metal U-shaped cover body 1 with an opening thereof facing downward, and an auxiliary bolt 3 for installation is fitted to the rear face thereof. An adjusting mechanism 4 movable within a vertical angle of±5°and two arms 6 interlocked with the adjusting mechanism are installed on the rear surface. A mechanism for fixing both ends of two belts 7 having a silicon antislipping agent coated on the surface thereof is installed in the arms. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
