PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indication device for a passenger conveyor, which changes the indicating items on the indicator provided on a moving hand rail and timely provides information according to the moving position of the passenger on the passenger conveyor. SOLUTION: The transmission of a required radio operation signal is commanded to the signal transmission device 15 at a getting-on-and-off port 6 from an indication command device 17, and proper advertisements or precautions for passengers at a position near a getting-on-and-off port 6 when they get on and off the passenger conveyor are indicated on the indicator of a moving hand rail 1 by the transmission signal from a signal transmission device 15. Through this constitution, items which are appropriate and different depending upon the displacing position are indicated for the passengers getting on and off the passenger conveyor 5. In order to change the items indicated on the electronic indicator, the items indicated on the indicator can be changed by inputting the radio operation signals corresponding to the items to be indicated newly in the indication command device 17.
