DEVICE FOR DETERMINING QUALITY OF BEVERAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for accurately determining the quality of beverage based on the kinds and proper amounts of raw materials during extraction.

SOLUTION: In the device, coffee extract obtained by pouring hot water to ground coffee beans using an extractor 2 is conveyed via a conveying pipe P to determine the quality of coffee to be cooked. The device comprises a concentration sensor 7 provided in the conveying pipe P for detecting the concentration of the coffee extract flowing in the pipe P; a parameter calculating means 8 for calculating a parameter to indicate changes in the concentration based on the concentration of the coffee extract detected at a plurality of different times t1, t2 by the concentration sensor 7; and a quality determining means 8 for determining the quality of coffee by comparing the calculated parameter to a predetermined reference value.
