SPOUT STRUCTURE OF BOTTLE EQUIPPED WITH VENT SLOTS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spout structure of a bottle equipped with vent slots prevented from deteriorating the flow of a resin or the flatness of the top surface of the spout when it is molded. SOLUTION: The spout structure of a bottle equipped with vent slots is suited for a PET bottle to be filled with a hot pack, a warmed PET bottle on sale at shops and the like. It comprises four or more recess portions 2 which are in maximum depth 20%-80% of the height of a screw thread 3 formed on the periphery of the spout within the range of each 360°circumference thereof. It is preferable that each recess portion 2 has a gentle-sloping curved profile and the total of longitudinal lengths of the concave portions along the screw thread is 30%-70% of the entire length thereof. As a result, it is possible to prevent the cap from flying when it is taken off and deformed crystallization at the stage of whitening/crystallization. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
