PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shadow mask for a cathode-ray tube, wherein uniformity of brightness and lightness at corner parts is improved by using aluminum-killed material, a doming phenomenon is lowered, and a curved surface maintaining strength of the shadow mask is improved. SOLUTION: The shadow mask for the cathode-ray tube formed by using the aluminum-killed material fulfills a relation of B2/P2≤B3/P3, wherein, B2 is a length of a bridge which is a distance in a vertical direction between holes formed on the corner part of the shadow mask, B3 is a length of a bridge which is a distance in a vertical direction between holes formed on the peripheral edge part of the shadow mask in a direction of a long axis, P2 is a vertical pitch between holes formed at the corner part of the shadow mask, and P3 is a vertical pitch between holes formed at the edge part of the shadow mask in the direction of the long axis.
