PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain abrasion of terminal fittings and a conducting probe. SOLUTION: Female terminal fittings 30 can be inserted into a female housing 10 from the rear. A front part 37a of an outer wall 37 is provided with a locking protrusion 52 having a guide surface 57 for guiding inserting operation by having a gradient tilted forward in the inserting direction. The locking protrusion 52 forms a receiving surface 55 for abutting to the conducting probe P from the front. This receiving surface 55 is retracted inside the guide surface 57, and is formed so as to be almost orthogonal to the inserting direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
