PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge member with a simple mechanism capable of automatically opening a lid and preventing a damage of a hinge part by rotation even if considerable force is applied in the state where the lid is opened. SOLUTION: In the closing state of the lid, a cam body is pressed to a rotation body 72 by a compression spring 66 and a cam groove 70 of the cam body 60 and a trace part 76 of the rotation body 72 are engaged. When the rotation body 72 is manually rotated through the lid, the rotation body 72 rotates until the trace part 76 exceeds the projection of the cam groove 70, slides on the recessed part of the cam groove 70 by the pressing force of the compression spring 66 and is engaged with the next projection. Namely, the lid mounted to the rotation body 72 is automatically released. When the considerable opening force for further opening the lid is applied to the lid, since the trace part 76 exceeds the projection and the rotation body 72 becomes rotatable, the hinge part is hardly damaged.
