PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting structure of a ball joint and an arm having a large load-resistant property in an axial direction. SOLUTION: The connecting structure is provided with the ball joint having a blocking plate blocking a large opening of a housing, and an arm in which the housing of the ball joint is inserted and a cylinder having an opening at both ends is provided. A flange is formed on an outer periphery of the housing of the ball joint at a large opening side. The blocking plate has a crimping portion with a shape copying the flange of the housing. The crimping portion comprises an intermediate crimping portion which is continued from a blocking portion of the blocking plate and is extended to a small opening side, and a crimping tail portion which is continued from the intermediate crimping portion and is folded to the inside. The crimping tail portion of the crimping portion is supported between the flange portion of the housing and the cylinder of the arm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
