PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify constitution of a device by reducing control valves. SOLUTION: A control device performing engagement control of a first speed clutch 21 and a second speed clutch 22 is provided with a second control valve 70 changing over and controlling supply of operating oil pressure to the second speed clutch, first and second shift valves 53, 56, a line pressure supply oil path 100, and a first linear solenoid valve 45. In a state that both the first and second shift valves are positioned at prescribed positions, a first oil path system leading from the oil path 100 to the second control valve through the first and second shift valves, a second oil path system leading from the oil path 100 to the first speed clutch 21 through the first shift valve, and a third oil path system leading from the first linear solenoid valve to the second control valve through the first and second shift valves are formed. Position changeover control for the second control valve is performed under control oil pressure Pc (1) fed through the third oil path system, control to supply and discharge line pressure to/from the second speed clutch is performed.
