PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock device for a game machine capable of preventing a dishonest unlock to be done by inserting a wire from a clearance of a front surface frame. SOLUTION: A sliding rod 6 integrally provided with hook parts 4 and 5 is arranged inside of a base frame 1 freely to slide, and a cylinder lock 7 is fitted to a fitting plate 2 of the base frame 1. A cam plate 8 to be engaged with the sliding rod 6 is fixed to a tip of a lock shaft. The hook parts 4 and 5 are engaged with a receiver fitting 30 fitted to a main body frame 20 to lock the front surface frame. A stopper 18 for hindering the movement of the sliding rod 6 when someone tries to slide the locked sliding rod 6 in the sliding direction without using the cam plate is provided, and a lock member 31 to be engaged with the hook parts 4 and 5 of the sliding rod 6 is fitted to the receiver fitting 30 freely to move. The lock member 31 is formed to move to a locking position when the hook parts 4 and 5 of the sliding rod 6 start the locking operation and formed to hold the lock condition of the hook parts when lock is concluded.
