PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for control of welding conditions of automatic welding equipment capable of properly selecting whether the welding conditions are renewed as needed, improving working efficiency, and avoiding generation of welding defects according to repair mistakes of welding conditions. SOLUTION: A memory area of welding condition file groups 4 where some welding conditions are memorized, and practical welding conditions in the above area 4 are read into a controller main body 1, and the controller main body 1 is equipped with a switch 6, by which a memory area 5 of repairable and practical welding conditions and the welding conditions which are repaired in the area 5 are renewed and back, or the former welding conditions of the area 4 are left without renewal.
