In a communication system a procedure is initiated to establish a communication connection for a user equipment. A data bearer may be established via one or more nodes of the communication system for the user equipment before the communication connection procedure is completed. An instruction is signalled to at least one of the nodes associated with the data bearer to prevent transportation of data to or from the user equipment by means of the data bearer. Based on the instruction, transportation of data to or from the user equipment is prevented until said communication connection establishment procedure has been completed. According to a further aspect, an indication is signalled to at least one of the nodes that the communication connection establishment procedure is completed. Charging record means associated with charging of data transportation prior said completion are closed in response to said signal.
