The invention concerns a surveillance assistance device for high-risk site, comprising a plurality of sectors inside which are carried out various activities, accessible through doors equipped or not with access control means, and wherein persons are likely, whether authorized or not to penetrate into said sectors. It comprises means for: collecting data concerning the premises to be watched, namely the type(s) of activity being currently performed, the passage(s) of different persons through one of the doors equipped with access control means, and the status, open or closed, of the doors; establishing on the basis of said data location and/or probable location of said persons in the various sectors of said premises; displaying one or several unauthorized persons present or probabilities of one or several unauthorized persons present in one or the other of said sectors.
