REPLACEABLE TEETH FOR A COMPACTOR WHEEL

A compactor wheel comprises a rigid cylinder defining a rim (10) having outer and inner surfaces and a plurality of teeth mounting apertures (11) extending through the rim. A plurality of teeth (1, 2) are releasibly mounted on the rim (10). Each tooth comprises a base (2) and a cap (1) positioned on opposite sides of the rim (10) and secured together by bolts (12) passing through a respective mounting aperture (11). Both the base and cap have portions extending beyond the edge of the mounting aperture so that when the base and cap are secured together the tooth is locked to the wheel rim.
