The cutting register regulator (10) for a printing machine web feed adjusts the cross cutting register for the web strings (B1,2) which are turned around axes by feeds (11,12), with one axis being adjustable with respect to the other in a frame (14,16), so that the length of the feed path of one web is adjustable relative to the other. The register regulator is upstream of the turning rod assembly (8) in the feed direction. Claims include a method of adjustment for the cutting register.
