The adjuster for a motor vehicle headlight has a pivoting section of the headlight (2) connected to an electrodynamic pivot (3) actuator. The pivot actuator can be an electrodynamic motor such as a falling coil motor with the pivot integrated into it. The headlight can be fixed to the pivot. The coil or a permanent magnet can be attached to the end of the pivot. Claims include a method of adjustment using the headlight adjuster.
