Aluminum strip is produced from an aluminum alloy containing (in wt.%) 0.8-2.5 Si, = 1.0 Fe, = 1.0 Cu, 0.8-1.5 Mn, 0.8-1.5 Mg, 0.05-0.3 Cr, = 0.5 Zn, = 0.15 Ti, and a balance of Al. The Cr component can be replaced by Zr. The aluminum strip is heat treated by lacquering. |
