CUT INJURY COVERING MATERIAL MADE OF SILK FIBROIN NANO-FIBER AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCTION OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: A cover material for cut injury made of silk-fibroin nano-fiber and having structure of a non-woven fabric is provided to obtain high closing ability and air-permeation and advantage of cell re-generation of damaged tissue. CONSTITUTION: The cover material comprises the silk fibroin obtained by removing sericin from the silk and other additives such as plastic agent, softening agent, anti-bacterial agent, anti-microorganism agent, cells, enzymes, antibodies, pigments and other mixture. The material is prepared by freezing and drying the silk-fibroin solution; dissolving the silk fibroin in an electrically radiational solvent; then radiating the solution. The radiational solvent is formic acid or water solution of the formic acid.
