DIAL KNOB ASSEMBLY FOR DRUM WASHING MACHINE

PURPOSE: A dial knob assembly for a drum washing machine is provided to prevent breakage of an internal substrate by restricting water from being infiltrated into a dial knob in splashing a control panel with water. CONSTITUTION: A dial knob assembly of a drum washing machine is composed of a dial knob(340) and a lamp housing(450) formed around the dial knob. A first rib(345) is protruded and formed in the outer periphery of the lower part of the dial knob, and a second rib(455) is protruded in the lamp housing. The second rib is placed on the first rib of the dial knob when the dial knob is combined with the lamp housing. Inflow of water is restricted with contacting the first rib of the dial knob to the second rib of the lamp housing in flowing water into the control panel. Short or wrong operation is prevented with shutting off inflow of water with the first rib and the second rib.
