摘要 <p>The working fluid circuit 10 of the present invention includes an exhaust gas passage 14 through which exhaust gas under pressure flows from the internal combustion engine 12, a charge air passage 16, and a turbocharger 18. An exhaust gas recirculation passage 20 extends between the exhaust gas passage 14 and the charge air passage 16, but bypasses the turbocharger 18 and provides a path for recirculating a predetermined amount of exhaust gas into the charge air passage 16. The charge air from charge air passage 16 mixes with the recirculated exhaust gases from the exhaust gas recirculation passage 20 in a venturi 32, which then flow down passage 37 to a single intercooler 24. The single intercooler is in fluid communication with the intake passage 22 of the engine 12. A condensation sensor (52, fig 2) is disposed within the intercooler 24 to detect the build up of condensation, and a bypass valve (50, fig 2) is formed to bypass the mixed gases in conditions prone to condensation. The intercooler 24 is preferably formed from stainless steel, and the ram air for the intercooler is supplied by a fan 46, driven by the engine 12.</p>
