PURPOSE: A preparation method of cokes is developed to have superior blending capability with coal and provide caking ability to non-caking coal by using wasted tire powder or granulated powder without metal component, tar. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing cokes comprises admixing 10-50 wt.% of wasted tire powder without metal component and tar sludge based on total weight percent of product. After then, the obtained mixture is heat-treated and carbonized at 250-350 deg.C for 30 minutes to 1 hour to produce carbonized product. The resulted product is cut to 3mm or less and then admixed with non-caking coal in 50-100 % by weight. After heat treatment, cokes product is obtained as a final product. The tar sludge generated during the production of cokes contains aromatic hydrocarbons with high fluidity and chemically stable solid particles.
