PURPOSE: A pad for absorbing liquid from food is provided to distribute and store the absorbed liquid in the pad and to give good anti-biotic property by anti-bacterial materials contained in top sheet of the pad. CONSTITUTION: The pad comprises a top sheet(10), a water-proof bottom sheet(30) not to penetrate fluid and an absorbing layer(20) between them. The absorbing layer comprises a pulp material(21) and a thermo-active fiber and/or water-absorbing resin(22). The pulp is arranged in a direction absorbing and storing the liquid of food into the pad. The top sheet(10) contains 0.1-3.0wt.% of antibiotic material and is made of mesh film and/or non-woven fabric. Alternatively, the top sheet may have duplicated-structure consisting of the mesh film or non-woven fabric layer and a tissue layer.
