ORGANIC ACID SALT OF AMLODIPINE

PURPOSE: Provided is novel organic acid salt of amlodipine which has excellent physico-chemical properties. Also, provided are its manufacturing method and a pharmaceutical composition containing it as an active ingredient. CONSTITUTION: Amlodipine camphorsulfonic acid salt is represented by the formula(2). It has photostability and the crystallized form. Its manufacturing method is characterized by reacting amlodipine and camphorsulfonic acid in an inert solvent. A pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of hypertension or cardiac diseases contains amlodipine camphorsulfonic acid salt and a pharmaceutically acceptable diluent or carrier.
