PURPOSE: A number plate for a vehicle is provided to improve the distinctness of the number plate by installing a plurality of lamps emitting light. CONSTITUTION: A number plate for a vehicle is composed of a transparent acrylic plate member(1) on which a vehicle number(2) is carved, a support unit(3) having a groove fit into the square circumference of the acrylic plate member, a plurality of lamps installed in the support unit and emitting light, and an electric circuit supplying power to the lamps. The vehicle number is painted.
