PURPOSE: A hair pin is provided to improve the structure of hair pins and thus, to increase users' convenience and safety, to reduce cost of manufacture, and to enhance productivity. CONSTITUTION: The hair pin includes a large plate(10) in various shapes(circle, oval, rectangle or other characters), a narrow plate(20), and an elastic plate(40) disposed between the large plate(10) and the narrow plate(20). A pair of locking bars(11) are formed vertically downward of the bottom surface of the large plate(10). On the opposite side of the large plate(10) is a frame(12) through which a hole passes in the horizontal direction. The elastic plate(40) has comb-shaped or pectinate projections(42) and grooves(43). The elastic plate(40) together with the narrow plate(20) provide elastic force.
