The locking closure is for a packaging box with sidewalls (1,2) and a small packaging flap (4) on opposing sidewalls. The other sidewalls have folded panel sections (3) with pleated side flaps (5) defining T-shaped lugs (7). The lugs engage apertures (8) in the adjacent sidewalls and expand to their original size after insertion to retain the closure in place.
