<p>PURPOSE: Provided is a manufacturing method of construction concrete blocks with high strength and lightweight by using waste lime, fly ash, cement and calcined lime. The waste lime is used as a raw material of binders forming hydrates by pozzolanic reaction. CONSTITUTION: The construction blocks are manufactured by the following steps of: gathering waste lime generated from chemical industries; drying waste lime to be 53% of moisture content; adding admixtures such as water and aggregates(sand) to be lime slurry; adding binders such as fly ash, cement and calcined lime, and mixing homogeneously; forming into blocks under 60kg/cm¬2 of pressure and vibration; steam curing at 60-80deg.C to activate the pozzolanic reaction of fly ash and promote the hydration reaction of cement. The concrete blocks have high compression strength when up to 50wt.% of waste lime is added and the ratio of aggregates and binders is 2:1. The resultant binders contain waste lime, cement, fly ash and calcined lime in a ratio of 40 : 20 : 30 : 10.</p> |
