PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for measuring the performance of a BTS(Base station Transceiver Subsystem) is provided to measure the performance of a BTS in a remote place automatically or manually according to circumstances. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring the performance of a BTS consists of a control information generation and measured value storage part(200), an input/output block selection part(210), and a signal measurement part(220). The control information generation and measured value storage part(200) creates control information to select one among a plurality of BTS input/output blocks and stores the signal-measured values measured at the selected input/output block. The input/output block selection part(210) selects one among the BTS input/output blocks substantially. The signal measurement part(220) measures the signals of an input/output block selected by the input/output block selection part(210).
